Backsplash
I thought a backsplash would really finish things off and tie in the sink color with the rest of the room. The nice part of this is that I still had the bead board wallpaper left over from the cabinets, and the wall color in my living room was an exact match for the sink. Score! So I wallpapered one night, painted the next morning, and then glazed that afternoon.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I was thinking about painting my kitchen cupboards and when I saw yours I thought, I am totally going for it!! I love the color of your backsplash too. What brand of paint and what color did you use for that? <3
ReplyDeleteThe original color I bought was Valspar's crystal aqua, but it turned out to be too baby blue. The old owners had left a very bright minty color, so I mixed the two together! I'm sorry I can't give you an exact color! :/
